Shenandoah River

The Shenandoah River was a source of fun on a nice warm day (though the river water temperature was only 70 degrees).  The kids waded out into the water, and climbed the rocks.  Even Lady (our dog) enjoyed playing around.  There was also a display board with all kinds of information about "Little Brown Bats".  The display board also doubled as a habitat for these interesting creatures.  There were 20 or so of them hanging around taking naps.  It was very interesting to see them up close and personal.
