National Canal Museum
& Twin Rivers Landing Museum

The National Canal Museum was a bonus visit along with the Crayola Factory (they share the same building, and admission).  This was a very interesting museum.  We learned about the "Tow Path" era of the canals, where young kids (starting around age 8) would work 12 to 16 hour days leading horses pulling cargo ships up and down these canals.  We discovered how this early transportation method was vital to the early industrial times.  They also had demonstrations and hands-on activities for various industries common during that time (weaving, textiles, etc).  This was a very interesting and enjoyable.
