Mount Desert Island (MDI)

Mount Desert (pronounced as if it were spelled dessert) Island, or MDI, is the single
largest Island on the East Coast. It houses all of Acadia National Park, and all the
wonderful harbors thereabouts. Park Loop road does, as its' name implies, completes
a loop around Acadia. Along the way, there are many pull-offs for sight seeing and
picture taking. These pictures represent the best of what we saw here.
