What a week!  Three solid days of rain, followed by 90+ degree heat and high humidity.  Despite it all, it was a wonderful week at Yogi.  Ashley and I spent the week there, along with special guests Peter and Caroline.

The week got off a bit wet, but we found lots to do anyway.  Phase 10 and Magic cards kept us occupied during the downpours.  When there was a break in the clouds, it was off to the put-put golf course, or fishing, or campground crafts, or even just chilling at the game room.  When the rain finally stopped, we had lake-front site (literally 4+ inches of water right outside our door).  It was so bad, the campground staff brought us a couple of pallets so that we could get out of our RV.  But, that finally dried up and all was well.  Back to the outdoor activities - swimming, biking, and campfires.  The water park was great - especially on those hot days.

Come Friday, a couple other ViPS (or prior ViPS) families arrived for the weekend.  We had a nice meal together Friday night, followed by a nice campfire for s'mores.  On Saturday, a bunch of other BTS team families came up for the annual BTS Bash.  There were over 30 of us in all.  It was a terrific day.  The folks enjoyed the campground amenities during the day (water park, put-put golf, pedal carts, etc.).  In mid-afternoon, we had a crabs, burgers, chicken, and rib feast.  It was good eatins'!  Despite another threat of thunderstorms, the front moved on past us with just barely a sprinkle.  We fired up the campfire and had a closing s'more fest. It was a wonderful day!

All in all, it was a terrific week.  We had a lot of fun, enjoyed the company of lots of Vippers, and had mostly tolerable weather.
