Friends Weekend
Yogi Bear - Quarryville, PA  May 14 - 16

This was a "Bring a friend camping" weekend in Quarryville, PA.  Ashley brought friend Tiffany, and Samantha brought friend Alicia (Lacy).  Neither had ever been camping before, so they were certainly in for a treat.   The Rutledge family (Shawn, Robbie, Nikki and Brittany) joined us as well.  They too each brought friends, so there were eight girls all together (Geez!).  We arrived Friday afternoon, setup camp, and had dinner.  We topped the evening off with a camp fire and some s'mores.  Saturday the kids hung out at the campground and did some activities.  The pool wasn't open yet, so that wasn't an option.  We traveled into town in the afternoon for some Amish ice cream (yummy).  Bruce whipped up a batch of his world famous Dutch Oven Lasagna for dinner.  Unfortunately, it started to rain just as we finished up cooking.  So, we ate indoors and called it a night with a movie.  Everyone had a wonderful time.  The "New" campers did very well on their first outing.
