Our July camping adventure to Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada, was abruptly saddened by the passing of one of our dear friends and camping companions. George Rozsas died on the grounds of the KAO campground - as a result of a sudden, quick, and fatal heart condition. Despite the absolute heroic efforts of others in our camping party, including two paramedics, and emergency room RN, and an EMT, it was God's will that this be George's time to join him in the afterlife. Though his death was sudden and tragic, we all share a special kind of joy having been the privileged few to be with George in his final days. There was comfort in knowing that he left this world surrounded by his friends and family, and with a beer in his hand. We'll all miss you George!

Here is a special section with various pictures of George taking during this camping trip. |

This was what the trip was all about. Here are some pictures depicting the sheer beauty of Niagara. |
We took the "Walk Behind the Falls" tour, and here we are all dressed up in rain gear ready to get wet! |
|
|
Another tour we took was onboard the "Maid of the Mist" - a boat ride which takes you VERY close to the actual falls. This too was a wet adventure. |
The falls provided a picturesque background for lot's of photo ops! Look here to view them. |

An trip to MarineLand afforded a wrap-up (and much needed distraction) to our shortened camping trip. Amusement rides and marine animal shows were plentiful. |
Interacting with the animals at MarineLand was a most notable event. Particularly, feeding the deer was an interesting adventure. |

There were also a few Kodak moments that didn't really fit into any other of the categories. Check here for some really fun pictures. |
